Dear Friends and Family,

I am lacing up my sneakers October 28th and walking my best at the South-West Middle School Walk-A-Thon. This event raises money for me and my classmates to help represent the many cultures and ethnicities at our school. We also get to enjoy an end of the year Multicultural Fair, which will cap off our school year.

I would appreciate it (and so would my schoolmates) if you could help support me.

Dear Friends and Family,

This year the Southwest Middle School Walking Club is hosting our second annual Walk-A-Thon in order to raise funds for our DEI Team (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion). One of the events our team hosts is an end of the year Multicultural Fair. We hope to have local businesses cater the event with multi-ethnic cuisine, and have performances from diverse artistic groups. In addition the funds will help beautify our school. The Southwest DEI team has been spearheading many changes throughout the school which promote inclusivity and cultural awareness. Our Walk-A-Thon will take place on 10/28/22 at 3:00 PM at the Kincaide Park track.
