Dear Friends and Family,

I am lacing up my sneakers next month and walking (....or I might be running!) my best & at my school's Summit Star Walkathon! This event makes me a star by raising money for me and my classmates to have a new Glowforge Laser Cutting System! Any additional funds will go to support school events, teacher grants and the Snack Library.

Our school-wide goal is to raise $18,000.

I'm asking for sponsors to help me reach my fundraising goal. Will you help by making a simple flat donation?

Summit Star Walkathon is Friday, May 2nd!

This event encourages movement & lets our kids be part of the fundraising process. Summit will be raising money toward a Glowforge Laser Cutting System for students to use their creativity while learning more about technology!

This year each student will be entered in to win one of the many raffle prizes regardless of the amount of money donated. Prizes include holiday world passes, gift cards, and much, much more!

Our goal is to raise $18,000! If your child’s grade-level raises $2,500 or more, they FIFTEEN extra minutes of recess!

If we raise $12,000, kids get to vote on silly costume for our principal to wear to school!

$18,000 (our goal) raised will be a school-wide pajama day!

Donations are due by end of day Friday, May 2nd.

Parents are welcome to volunteer or spectate.

¡La Caminata de Superhéroes es el viernes 3 de mayo!

Este evento fomenta el movimiento y permite que nuestros niños sean parte del proceso de recaudación de fondos. Todos los fondos de la Caminata se destinarán a un nuevo sistema de recortar utilizando un láser de la marca Glowforge. Este sistema les permite a los estudiantes utilizar su creatividad mientras que aprendan más de la tecnología.

Este año cada estudiante entrará para ganar uno de los premios no importa cuánto dinero recauden. ¡Hay varios premios, incluso billetes para Holiday World, tarjetas de regalo y más!

¡Nuestra meta es recaudar $18,000! Our goal is to raise $18,000! ¡Si el grado de tu hijo recauda $2,500 o más, ganarán 15 minutos extra de recreo!

Si recaudamos $12,000, los estudiantes pueden votar en un disfraz divertido que el director se pondrá a la escuela un día.

¡Si alcanzamos nuestra meta de recaudar $18,000 toda la escuela tendrá un día de pijama!

Todas las donaciones se deben el viernes, 2 de maio.
