Colleen's Goal: $400

Help spread the word

Colleen Fetter

Dear Friends and Family,

I am lacing up my sneakers and walking my best at the BES Walkathon. This event raises money to buy a new playground for me and my friends at school.

We have to raise $31,000 (and quickly) so that we can meet the challenge accepted from the Hamilton Family Charitable Trust. Mr. Peter Hamilton is donating $100,000 once we meet our goal!

I would appreciate it (and so would my 640 schoolmates) if you could help support me.

Thanks in advance for your support!

About this fundraiser:

2/13/25-EDITED to add: Mr. Kehl has agreed to let the top raising class choose between throwing pies in his face OR making him (no students) sleep over at the school one night. The catch: we must raise $10,000 in this Walkathon fundraiser. Can we do it? Who will win??

This year's Walkathon fundraiser has a much larger goal. With that comes a much larger reward! Keep reading...

The PTO, Mr. Kehl and other school officials have been BUSY behind the scenes.

What are we doing? Putting together a proposal for a NEW playground for our students! That proposal amount came out to be over $131,000. Wowza!!

Why are we putting together crazy proposals? Because we have been presented with an opportunity we DO NOT want to miss out on an insanely generous donation. We're talking $100,000! Yep, you read that right- $100,000!!!!

*Mr. Peter Hamilton and the Hamilton Family Charitable Trust is challenging the members of our school and community. If we all come together and raise the $31,000 portion of the proposal cost, he will donate the rest of the money needed to move forward with the new playground.

Can you believe that?? All of the students could be playing on brand new equipment in the next few months!

What's the catch? We have 5 months to raise the funds. We are confident that we can do it, but we will need to work together to get as many donations as possible.

What do you say? Can you make a donation today? Can you share this with family, friends, coworkers, bosses and neighbors? Know any business owners that would like to make a donation? Time to get creative and ask everyone! No amount is too small!

As always, THANK YOU for your continued support! Let's do this!
