I’m taking part in our Woodlands Trail Hike-a-Thon to help raise money for all the incredible adventures our troop has planned this year. We’ll be camping at the beach, exploring caves at the Lost Sea, backpacking in Grayson Highlands, rock climbing, biking the Virginia Creeper Trail, and more!

The official Hike-a-Thon will happen during our Falls Lake camping trip on September 20, 2025, but if I can’t be there, I’ll do my own hike that weekend or another time!

Every dollar I raise goes 100% toward covering the cost of these trips, making it possible for me and my troop to experience these awesome adventures, grow in our faith, and build lifelong skills.

This year, our Woodlands Trail boys are gearing up for an unforgettable season of adventure! From camping at the beach and exploring caves at the Lost Sea to backpacking through the stunning Grayson Highlands, rock climbing, and biking along the Virginia Creeper Trail, every trip is designed to challenge, inspire, and grow our boys in both skill and character. These experiences not only create lasting memories but also teach teamwork, perseverance, and a deep appreciation for God’s creation.

We’re hosting a Hike-a-Thon to help make these adventures possible for every boy in our troop. The official Hike-a-Thon will take place during our Falls Lake camping trip on September 20, 2025. 100% of the funds raised will go directly toward covering trip costs, gear, and expenses, making it possible for all of our Woodlands Trail families to participate. Your support will help us invest in the next generation of young men, giving them opportunities to build confidence, grow in faith, and develop lifelong skills—all while having a blast in the great outdoors!
