This year TRD’s annual Skate-A-Thon Fundraiser is a marathon-style trail skate on St. Mark’s Trail at the end of March! I will be attempting to skate all 16 miles as part of our effort to raise funding for our roller derby team’s travel costs during this completely “away” season.

Please consider pledging to directly assist my travel costs and join us for a fun Skate-A-Thon event followed by a picnic on March 30th.

If you’re not on wheels—no worries! We are in need of volunteers to run checkpoint games, hand out waters, and cheer us on. Visit TallahasseeRollerDerby.com for volunteer signups and more event details.

Tallahassee Roller Derby is hosting our annual Skate-A-Thon fundraiser on Saturday, March 30, 2024! We are raising money to offset travel costs this season as the team will be playing in South Carolina, Alabama, and Georgia.

Skate-A-Thon will be held on the St. Marks Historic Railroad Trail, where our players will attempt to skate the full 16 miles from the Tallahassee Main Trailhead to the St. Marks River Trailhead. Total League Fundraising Tiers

$1000 - Skaters will share their favorite derby fail picture
$1500 - TRD will record relays and endurance races at practice
$2,000 - Trail Checkpoint #1 becomes a hoola hoop competition
$3,000 – Trail Checkpoint #2 becomes a limbo party
$4,000 - Trail Checkpoint #3 becomes an obstacle course!
$6,000 - GOAL MET!!
