Dear Friends and Family,

I am lacing up my sneakers next month and walking my best at Baldwin Hills Elementary Turkey Trot Walk a Thon! This event raises money for me and my classmates to continue to be enriched with school activities that are essential, but no longer funded by LAUSD. Some of these activities include field trips, technology, student & teacher appreciation, equipment and supplies, enrichment and more.

I would appreciate it (and so would my schoolmates) if you could help support me.

Baldwin Hills Elementary Pilot & Gifted High Ability Magnet School is excited to host our first Turkey Trot Walk A Thon! This event will raise funds for student activities and promote physical fitness!

Updated Event Details:

We are excited about the VIRTUAL Turkey Trot this weekend! That's right, the Turkey Trot will now be a VIRTUAL event!

This means Turkey Trot participants can run, walk, jog, roller-skate, scoot on their scooters, or ride their skateboard for at least 20 minutes this weekend. Grab your friends or family this Saturday or Sunday at a time that works best for you and exercise outdoors. Exercise is essential for physical and mental health and well-being. We ask that each Turkey Trot participant take pictures or videos completing the Turkey Trot with your family or friends. Be sure to wear your Baldwin Hills Elementary School t-shirt or sweatshirt!

Once Turkey Trot participants finish the VIRTUAL Turkey Trot, share your photos and videos on social media. Be sure to tag @baldwin_hills_es on Instagram! Or send your pictures and videos to thefriendsofbhs@gmail.com. If you have any questions contact thefriendsofbhs@gmail.com
