Dear Friends & Family,

Beyond simply being a fun activity, knowing how to swim is an important life-saving skill. Unfortunately, too few NYC kids have access to swim lessons which is why I am swimming to raise funds to support FREE swim instruction and skill development to kids right here in my community.

On Saturday, May 31st, I have organized (and am swimming in) a swim-a-thon to raise money to support Asphalt Green’s community water safety initiatives and ongoing skill development programs, both of which aim to promote diversity in the sport of swimming. These efforts will create pathways to swim instruction for individuals and families facing financial hardships. Together, we can help ensure our community has access to life saving swim instruction.

About this fundraiser:
