At this event, designated hitters for each honoree get 10 chances to hit a ball as far as possible. The best of the 10 hits becomes the recorded distance. Prior to the day of the Hit-a-Thon, sponsors and fans make a "per foot" or a flat rate pledge on behalf of their honoree. A weblink with 99Pledges is set up for pledges. Pledges start at $.50 per foot.

The New Las Vegas Walk of Stars proudly announces its FIRST ANNUAL HIT-A -THON Fundraiser Celebration with 99Pledges SUNDAY JANUARY 8, 2023 12-4PM.

This event is being held to honor those whose significant
contribution helped make Las Vegas the Entertainment Mecca of the World! Pledges from this event will go the creation and
placement of each honoree's star on Las Vegas Boulevard
