Dear Friends and Family,

I am lacing up my sneakers in October and running my best at my school's 4th Annual Webster FUN(D) RUN. I'm excited to be a part of it because this event raises money for me and my classmates to have new playground equipment, classroom supplies, and participate in fun activities.

I'm asking for sponsors to help me reach my fundraising goal. Will you help by making a pledge per lap or a simple flat donation?

About this fundraiser:

Webster's 4th annual FUN(D) RUN will be held on Friday, October 11th. It is the main PTA fundraiser for the year, and 100% of the donations will go to the Webster PTA. Students will be collecting money from September 20 to October 11. Our goal this year is to collect $15,000. Webster PTA funds activities for students, family events, teacher needs/appreciation, and the classroom. Everyone did an awesome job last year and because of our generous parents, sponsors, and community donors, we were able to purchase new playground equipment. We plan to add to the playground in the coming years, and your generous donations are appreciated.

Prizes are earned based on how many donations the child receives. Prizes will be distributed in the following few weeks after the Fun(d) Run. The top three classrooms will receive Class Prizes that will celebrate and reward all students in the class and teacher. The talented runners with the most laps will also receive prizes.

You can donate by lap or with a flat donation. Each lap is 1/6 of a mile. In past years, a couple of very athletic students ran over 20 laps, and most students run around 10 laps.
